The New England Patriots are an American football team based in the Boston area. The Original logo of the New England Patriots was a depiction of the Revolutionary War minuteman snapping a football in a crouched position. Within a short period of time it was replaced with the silhouette of a Patriot's head wearing a red, white and blue tricorne hat that was nicknamed by fans "Flying Elvis".
I personally like the old logo better than the current one. I think the new one is too plain and simple whereas the old one is cartoonish and cool and even includes a football. Both logos have the same color scheme, however the new one has a star on the man's hat.
I think Patriots fans would disagree with me and argue that the new logo is the better one. At least one diehard fan does shown below. The first youtube video is probably New Englands biggest fan getting the new logo tatooed on his very own head! The second video is a clip from ABC news all about the Patriots Logo!
